Jorge Zayasbazan, Senior Pastor

Jorge earned the Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1988) and has helped revitalize churches in Miami, New Orleans, Chicago and San Antonio. He has served as a Christian radio broadcaster, Navy Chaplain and church planter.  Jorge currently serves on the Texas Christian Life Commission, the Executive Board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, Associate Trustee of the Baptist Health Foundation and is adjunct faculty at the Baptist University of the Americas.
Jonathan Clark, Associate Pastor

Jonathan is a native of El Paso and has been ministering in Texas since 1992 and at Baptist Temple since 2001. He graduated in 1995 from Oklahoma Baptist University, with a Bachelor of Music Degree and received the Master of Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, in 2000. Jonathan’s ministry at BT includes worship and adminstration.
Dan Trevino, Associate Pastor

Dan is a native of San Antonio and earned a BS from Howard Payne University, an MSW from Our Lady of the Lake University, and both a Master's and a Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Dan served as campus administrator for BCFS and several pastorates throughout Texas; most recently at Harlandale Baptist Church. He joined the BT staff in 2014 and focuses on family ministry.
Paulette Trevino, Director of Daycare and Preschool Ministries

Paulette earned her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Wayland Baptist University where she also earned her Bachelors of Occupational Education. She has previously directed a vocational development program for women, provided leadership for a teen mom mentoring program and directed Sunday worship. She joined the Baptist Temple team in 2013 and quickly made an impact by increasing enrollment and expanding our services.
Angello Sanchez, Youth Minister

Angello was born in Venezuela and came to the US on a student visa, enrolling at the Baptist University of the Americas(BUA) to learn English.
A follower of Jesus since he was 14, Angello felt the call to ministry while at BUA and enrolled in the theology program. Working with youth fills Angello with hope. He not only wants to teach but, also wants to learn from them.Angello has a demonstrated passion for urban youth, is fluent in English and Spanish and is comfortable ministering in a multicultural environment.
